Good morning ppl. Today's blog post is about some easy and nonetheless yummy breakfast recipe ideas. So how many are completely bored with the normal indian breakfast i.e.,idly,dosa, poori or bread stuffs? Huu or even plain bland oats, all the diet freaks out there? Ok talking about myself when coming to breakfast..im a total breakfast skipper or just manage it with some old box of cereals(quick and easy)Raise your hands if u do so!!!
Well Not anymore. I'll be sharing 3 yummy and easy healthy breakfast recipe using oat meal.
Oats can be pretty boring with jus milk and sugar. People who are trying to lose weight might be on a strict oats diet,no worries thou I've got you covered..and u'll never want to go back to the plain old bowl of oats.
These recipes you can prepare it ahead of time and reheat the nxt morning for ppl going for work or school/college.

1.Oatmeal protein pancake:

This will make upto 6-7 medium sized pancakes.
Cooking time: 2mins on each side. When one side starts to form bubble on top then flip it over.
Talking about oats i use the plain Quaker oat meal.
INGREDIENTS:
  1. Oat meal (6 tbsp)
  2. 2 eggs
  3. Banana (one full)
  4. Chocolate chips or chopped nuts(optional)
  5. Stevia sugar or normal/brown sugar( if you prefer extra sweetness)
  6. Half cup milk(any milk of your choice i.e almond, skimmed or soya. I use A2 milk)
  7. Half cup water.
  8. Pinch of salt&baking powder(optional)
  9. Margerine/butter/oil.
Method:
  1. Blend together the dry ingredients first i.e the oat meal and nuts, salt&baking powder . It should be in powder form
  2. Add in the wet ingredients along i.e milk,2 eggs, banana and water and blend well. This is have a semi solid consistency and not to watery. If it turns out to be really watery jus add more oat meal flour. If you want to make a chocolate chip pancake then add the chocolate chips along.
  3. Grease the pan(i use amul lite) and once the pan is hot enough pour the batter into any size you prefer and allow it to cook.
  4. It should only take about 3 mins to cook both sides.
  5. I make 3 medium sized ones per batch.
  6. Once it's done. Plate the pan cake in your plate and you could drizzle some honey/maple syrup, chocolate syrup, or top with chocolate chips or any fruits you fancy and have fun.
  7. Ps: if your vegan and don't like to add eggs then skip the eggs and add 2 tbsp of any cooking oil to the batter and mix.
Note:You can make this batter and store it in the refrigerator for max 2days and prepare the pancakes the next morning fresh.

2.Chocolate parfait oatmeal:
This is legit great. You can't have anything fancier than this for breakfast(jus my thought). I'm pretty sure you'll love this. Let's jump in.

Ingredients:
  1. Oatmeal (2tbsp)
  2. Cocoa powder (2tsp or as per your liking.)
  3. Stevia sugar/brown/normal sugar.
  4. Some dates,chopped nuts,fruits of your choice (pomegranates,apples,banana)
  5. Chocolate chips if you need an extra something.
  6. Half cup milk(A2,soya,skimmed,almond) and half cup water.
  7. Transparent smoothie tumbler(glass/plastic) since its a parfait..we need to do it that way else you can just add everything to a bowl.Either way it's gonna taste delicious.
Method:
  1. Cook the oats by adding mix of hot water and milk, sugar and cocoa powder. The cooking time should take about 5-6 mins. Allow it to cool after it's done.
  2. Now take the parfait tumbler and we got to start layering it.
  3. 1st layer from the bottom mixture of fruits, then some chopped nuts and some chocolate chips(optional)then add some chocolate oats that's been cooling and keep repeating the step until you reach the top finishing it with layer of nuts/chocolate chips and if you really fancy maybea drizzle of nutella orany chocolate spread. No one is complaining.
  4. You can have it as it is or can cool it and have it cold. You can even make it ahead of time buy keeping the oats separately. When your ready jus chop up some fruits and start layering it. Else you can prepare it the night before and let it set overnight and grab it the nxt day mrng while ur on the go.
  5. Only cutting the fruit is time consuming. The whole making should take about 15mins. You'll never regret this one.

Note:You can prepare this the night before and allow it to sit in the refrigerator. It's nice when consumed chill. It's not good to store it more than one day.

3.Basic yet the best oats porridge:
I cant find a fancy name so just excuse me. But this should be my most favorite one cause it's simple but so tasty.

Ingredients:
  1. Oats(2 tbsp)
  2. Half cup milk and half cup water.
  3. Sugar of your choice(stevia/brown/white)
  4. Chopped nuts,raisins and fruits(mango,banana,pomegranates,apples)as you wish.
  5. Since it's the mango season..i want to make the most of it buy adding it to everything. Chopped mango is the key ingredient in this.
Method:
  1. Cook the oats by adding half cup water and milk with sugar for about 5-6 mins. Let it cool.
  2. It's time to layer it in a bowl. Add the cooked oats to the bowl and top it with chopped mangoes and the fruits you prefer then some raisins and mixed chopped nuts.
  3. That's it simple and easy but oh sooo yummy. The mango makes it just spl. I've been having it almost every morning the last few days.

Note:You can prepare the oats and box it separately and keep the chopped fruits separately.  Next day morning, jus add in some hot milk to the oats give it a stir and add the fruits of your choice with nuts or anything you fancy. Can store the oats for a max of 2days incase you want to prepare it ahead of time. But i never store cooked oats in the refrigerator..i do it fresh every morning when i want to have it.
HAPPY BREAKFAST TIME!!

"DO WHAT GOD ASKED YOU TO DO.
  THE REST SHALL FOLLOW."
This needs no major explanation.Every now and then we keep searching for promising words from God/people/etc.God does speak to us or through people but let that not be the drill. Let us not forget that everything that's listed in the Bible(we got to read it to know it) is a Promise from God himself(he has already spoken it all) and it's for us alone to take it and equip ourself to get to the promised land.
We keep asking God to do this and that but then we forget what we have to do for God.He tells us certain things to let go off so that we can move forward and get to positions we've never even applied for.
But we still try hard to hang on to it and feel burdened thinking that God has forgotten us and end up crying out&wondering why all the blessings that God has promised is taking so long to reach us.The reason is simple. The fault is our's and not God's.He waiting to bless us,He wants to raise us up so that we can stand on mountains and walk on stormy seas. It's a bigger thing..let's leave behind what hurts God and move forward,so God can do His part .Remember if you can't please God dont expect God to please you.

Until next time adios amigos
